thinner radiator for 2nd gen?

Last night I swapped my fan for the Taurus fan and I don't like how close it is to the bolts that used to hold the fan clutch (I heard it rub a bit this morning on the way to work, but that's mostly because I don't have as secure as it should be).

However, I'd like to get a new radiator anyway, and I think I've heard of a thinner radiator than the stock one that will work on my '93 3VZ-E, does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Did you get rid of that noisy monster fan for something quiet?

I did what alot of people have done already, install the 90-95 Taurus 3.4L V6 two speed electric fan on my 4runner to get a little better mpg and HP. I used a stock radiator thermostat/40amp relay kit from Autozone to hook it up.
