I have a '97 sr5 5 speed 4runner, and broke the rear end yesterday. I found a guy selling a 96-04 tacoma rear with a posi unit. Both are 4:10's, however my 4 runner axle is a 4 pinion and the tacoma is a 2 pinion. Can I swap the entire third members?, or are they different sizes? I'm taking my old one to compare dimensions side by side, but figured I would ask for some info on here.
