Hey there,

I bought the 3" spacer lift for the front of my runner, after install, I realized my stock springs were shot. I didnt get my full 3" out of it and now I rub.

I already have the 890 for the rear!

Can I order the OME front springs (881?) use my top out spacer and your tokico front struts?

Also If I go that route, will I need to order new studs for my top plate since the spacer kit i installed used the bolts instead (unfortunetly I did not keep my studs)?

you should be fine with the bolts, not sure about the struts. someone else will chime in shortly tho.

you can reuse your top plates with the top plate spacer and those bolts. just pull the coil spacer and reuse everything else.

using the tokicos with OME coils isn't recommended. if you are going to be replacing your shocks while you are in there, you will be much better off using the OME shocks

Ok how about the eibach springs? Im trying to keep the cost down otherwise I would buy the coil overs!

Its either this or a body lift!

Your 3" Revtek spacers are not going to work with OME 881s - too much lift for your CVs to handle. Your stock shocks aren't really going to work well with anything that gives you a full 3" either. If I was in your boat, I would either get OME 881s w/ the right spacers that Toytec sells and some OME struts.. or get some adjustable coilovers like the ones in the Toytec ultimate kit. Then sell the Revteks.

I know you weren't looking to spend a lot more money right now, but I say do it right the 2nd time! Otherwise you will be doing it again for a 3rd time when you realize your stock front struts aren't allowing the front hardly any flex or travel and the droop is killing your CVs.

On a side note, if your doing all this just to get the front to not rub, then be warned: You may still rub even with new coils/struts. 285s rub at full compression/lock unless you A) get a body lift or B) do some trimming. Those who say their 285s don't rub with just a 3" sus lift and no trimming aren't pushing their truck to full compression.

Who said anything about revtek!? lol It is all from toytec! ...and yes I agree about doing it first right the first time...BUT...Im too impatient and cant SAVE very well! haha

I think I might just do a cheap body lift for now until I can afford the coilovers!

1" BL but I want to raise the front bumper as well. I dont like the gap...at least I think I wont?

I really need to save money to get my supercharger fuel fixed!

Eibach are really meant to be paired with the bilsteins.

Could I run the OME coils with my stock shocks for now? Would it feel bouncy?
I can afford the coils only right now. I have a shop a few blocks away that does the spring install for 60 bucks..so I wouldnt be out a lot when I can finally get the struts later.

Also, should I get the medium coils or just the standard? I dont want a stiff ride, but dont want a lot of brake dive either.

yeah you can run the 881's with stock shocks. the 883(medium) and 882(heavy) require the OME shocks
