Availability for the truck I want is non-existent at best. Dealers in town have but one or two magnetic gray with the wrong options. On top of that, no real deal with financing or lease. Best rate I can get is 3.15 for 48 months. And the lease special they have right now works out to about 5k in rent charge. That's insane compared to the 120 bucks we paid for the Prius just 6 months ago.

At least there's nothing wrong with my Tacoma but I'm going to need that interior space when baby 2 comes out. That's it. I'm taking a "smoke break."

Oh and what's the deal with the blizzard pearl? It seems like 9 out of 10 trucks on the lot are blizzard pearl.

What specific options are you looking for?

AAA has a rate of 2.69% up to 60, then 3.49% for 72. That is for my zip though, yours might be different but they seem to have the lowest rate I have found.

Damn, you guys in the mainland has some killer deals compared to where I'm at.

Here, the BP's are more rare. I see much more silver, black and grey (in that order).

Maybe widen your search? or special order.

not even a year ago (March/April 2010) I had to wait 6 weeks for a BP w/Black interior and still didn't get exactly what I wanted. My advise is to call around to dealerships you would be willing to drive to. My local dealer told me there was nothing in the South East Region, but my wife found the BP I ended up getting about 90 minutes away sitting on a lot.
I think I got 2.9% through BoA for 60, but haven't looked lately.

Color allotment is a region thing (as is available options and combinations). Around here (southwest Virginia) BP is not very common, I see mostly silver.

Most dealer in S. Cal only stock up either SR5s or Limiteds and not too many TE. Back when i was shopping for mine I ran into a few TE and most of them was Silver with Black interior.

How do you like that Prius. My wife and I test drove one today and it was not as bad a I was expecting. I am kind of hesitant because I always had performance cars and suv's but she want a Prius. It may not be a bad idea with gas prices going up. Of course I will keep the 4runner and my Jeep Wrangler also.
