i payed 6,850 for my 3rd gen that was 4wd qith 75k, not 400k haha, thats why its not good to buy from used car dealerships lol 8000 is way too much

Wow. Thats insane. But with that mileage I'm not sure it's a reasonable asking price..

Oh I completely agree. With that mileage what is a "good price"? I mean, how do you really assess it? KBB says $7,436???????

I think LittleCaesar posted the same truck last night. But the link went to Ebay and starting bids were at $1,999 I believe. Thats probably a fair price.

Yep you are right, same one. Ok 421,000 miles is lame compared to the one on this link. GO BOB

Wow! Makes me want to get to that. But the thing is that most cars are probably like people. They're not all built the same out of the factory. Just the same way one person can go to the gym and eat right and live till 115 while another person who does the same thing dies at 35. I think Bob just happned to get the good 4runner out of the bunch when bought it.

I have 326,000 on mine. I just went 7,500 miles on Mobil 1 and never added a drop of oil between changes.

Honestly, the only major part I have replaced on the vehicle has been the radiator and rebuilt the rear axle: bearings, seals, etc.

.

if you think about it, if its the original motor and trans, you know it was well cared for....

I agree with Twitchee, I bet you this one will be around a lot longer than some ones out there now with 150K on them. To hit that mileage and be that clean, this thing was well cared for. If Bob (the guy with 620K miles) ever wanted to sell his I'd seriously consider it. Obviously they won't run forever but high mileage doesn't mean much when they're well maintained just like low mileage doesn't mean anything if they haven't been.

Yeah it's already been said but as long as it's the original engine/tranny, I think it's a testament of just how well put this vehicle really is!! :girl::hungry:
