A buddy of mine has a 2006 Saab 9-3 turbo. We were going to the driving range (golf) last night and he was behind me at the light before you get there. The road to the range is a 55mph road and after the light turned green, he sped up and passed a car to get next to me. When he pulled bumper to bumper, we both hit the gas in a friendly competition. I used to have a Mustang GT, so i still gun it every once in a while. I heard his turbo spool up and even after it did, i still left him. I quit once i got up to about 65, but it was funny leaving him in my SR5 V6!

Toyota's 4.0 liter V-6 has hell a lot more torque than Saab's 2.0 liter Turbo. There is no Replacement for DISPLACEMENT.

My girlfriend has one of those, they seem to be kinda underpowered, ive driven it a few times, and I think the 4Runner definitely has more power than the 9-3

Ha. Thats good. I had a Saturn coupe try to cut me off once by taking off around me and try to zoom around and in front of me to make a turn. I stomped it about the time he was dead even with me, I matched him, and proceeded to out accelerate him something fierce. I pulled about 3 car lengths on him by 60 and he just let out, pulled in behind me, and whimpered the rest of the way to his turn.

I'm very happy with the power of the V6 in these 4Runners :bigok:
