Nope, my 2000 SR5 sport has leather (tan)
Well, leather was an option, but wasn't included in the sport package

I think all limiteds had the side panels, which this one doesn't, so it is just an SR5.

go look at it anyway- print out the price guide from KBB and also get on the NADA site and do the same(nada is what the banks go by when they do vehicle loans) If both are lower then what the asking price hopefully he/she will try and work with you a little bit. Thats a sweet truck.

Yes use NADA. KBB is worthless IMO. Also you PM'ed me about my rear springs...U want those?

KBB may be worthless, but that's what most people are going to go off of. Even if you show them something else (I use Edmunds), most of them will say, "But it's the KBB price!" Really ticks me off sometimes, but that's just the way it is. Had one guy who was trying to sell me a truck that hadn't been cleaned in years, needed spark plugs, wires, and a bunch of other moderate work, and he wouldn't take a penny less than KBB.

It's a dealer, just keep walking away until they accept your offer of $8k or at least try to work with you on it, it's worked everytime I've had to do it.

That guy was a dumb ass. I hope you didn't buy the truck. I honestly don't even check KBB anymore. I worked at a local dealership for about 3 years and they always used NADA. The only time they ever used KBB is if they were having a promotion for used car sales and wanted to screw over their customers. KBB is almost always high. NADA is a more accurate representation.
Don't waste time arguing. If they don't want to sell, they don't want to sell. They'll figure out for themselves if they're being too optimistic.
Does anyone else get a bad feeling about the whole deal based on that post?
I wouldn't trust the seller if they're trying to pass off an SR5 as a Limited. A Limited is a Limited, not an SR5 Limited.
BTW, Limiteds have the limited slip center diff. There will be a button on the side of the 4WD lever, which I believe says "4WD" to switch from 2H to 4H. (The lever will also say 2H-4H on the upper left and "4HL" on the bottom.)
Still, I'm not sure based on that error/deception and the horrible grammar that I would even go look.

Not for the 01-02's. They have the center diff lock button to the left of the steering wheel. The system you are referring to is the 99-00 limiteds, which have the J shifter and the AWD button the side of the shifter.
I get weary of a seller with the wrong infor, but depends on what information is wrong. The SR5, Limited mix up shouldn't happen because they are stamped on your 4runner with emblems, but people over look them and look only for pricing and get confused. It definitely would reflect the attention and care they put into the 4runner though. The one that gets me is when people get the year wrong. It is clearly written on the title and should be know by the seller.

That truck was on cl a few weeks back and i dont think it brought more then like 7-8 grand on there so i dont know if that dealer bought it and is trying to advance it or if they just didnt let it go on ebay.
