Idk you have guys have seen project farms videos. Dudes badass haha. Random farmer sho tests all sorts of products in engines and lets you know what worked.

I think i'm going to buy a compression tested and try it out on my 240k 4runner, it seems to have worked awesome on his diesel.

Me and my friends ate some lobster rolls on the hood of my 4Runner. Ran pretty much the same. Only difference I noticed was that it immediately started rusting from the salt on our potato chips.

It's a great idea. Your engine has run fine for 240k miles and because of something on YouTube you're going to pour chemicals in it to "restore it" ..... solid logic for sure.

I'm not some clueless idiot who just follows a random video blindly. If you watch all his videos he shows most things are snake oil and don't do anything. My vehicle has laster 240k miles because Toyota has amazing quality control.... using mobile 1 fully synthetic does hurt either.

But there are some things than can help improve engines. same reason we use synthetic vs dino oil.

I've watched most of his videos and he does honest and thorough reviews.

Not all "magic in a can" stuff is junk, some of that stuff can help. Things like head gasket sealers I would avoid though in general.

I've seen some of his videos and confirms results I've seen with some products.

However, he tested it on a diesel tractor engine that's pretty tough. Also, a diesel engine works much differently than our much lower compression gasoline engines. I don't think you will get the same results.

It's also possible that all the product is doing is thinning the oil and allowing more of it to get past the piston rings, similar to how a wet compression test will get better numbers than a dry one. Once you drain the product, could go back to low compression and you'll notice you've sprung a few new oil leaks.
