Those with 2007 Sport Editions.....

I just ordered my 2007 Sport in silver. From what I've see the interior on all are the same color. What color is the floor carpet at the driver's feet and in the cargo area??? grey? I can't remember. I was going to order some floor mats and cargo liner.

for those with weather tech or an opinion, do you think the grey mats look better or should I get black. I think black would look ok since there is black in the seats.

yeah that's what I the weather techs are...all weather mats. I just couldn't decide between the grey or getting black.
 
Get black. If not for contrast. At least you won't have to worry about it discoloring because they're black. Black goes with anything.

Get black. You don't have worry about color matching and the contrast looks pretty good.

I debated the color choices before... I ended up with black because my Tacoma came with black TRD mats and they looked good, so it was a no brainer when I was ordering liners.

Personally, I recommend liners over mats, because of the complete coverage. WeatherTech mats are not a perfect fit--they're a quasi-custom shape. (WeatherTech has like 40 different patterns and they send you the one that should come the closest fit to your car. I complained about the fit for my Camry and they told me I could try another shape if I wanted to, but none would be perfect.) They come very close for some cars and trucks and others it's still off. The rear mat will be a generic square shape with trim lines.

I have the WeatherTech Floorliners in black and they are a perfect fit.

First thing I did was get the Black Toyota all weather mats.. nice contrast and looks great with the seats...

I thought the light gray carpet mats looked awful.
 
D@mmit you guys, now I want a set after seeing how nice they fit! The black ones would look great with the SE interior too. The weathertechs are the best fitting mats I've seen. Better coverage too. Grrrr... (trying to save up for a Garmin Nuvi here)...

I know it's off topic but I just purchased a Garmin Nuvi 350 and all I can say is "WOW". I am really enjoying it!
 
I put the Toyota all weather (or whatever they are called) rubber mats in mine. They are black and IMO, they look great. Highly recommended.

Yeah I thought about getting the Nuvi 680. So you like it huh?
 
If I were to do it again (may still do it) I would have ordered the Liners vs Mats. After going through a long winter with plenty of salt, snow and mud. The mats just did not have enough coverage. I am in the middle of cleaning all my carpets as road salt and water leaked over the sides of the mats. The liners look like a better options with more coverage, especially for the second row! As most of you know when you have the SUV you get to be the one to drive when there are 5 people, and with a person sitting in the middle of the back row my center area carpet took a beating.


Anyone else experience how slippery the mats can get when they are wet? Mine seem to get pretty slippery when I get in the truck with snow covered/wet shoes, I have to put my foot on the dead foot rest, as it will slide around on the mats when they are wet.


Side Note on Nuvi 680 ( I was able to take one for a test ride, my friend is the buyer for them for a major electronics company, so he has had one for about a month now before they hit the market) Very Nice! I am also saving up for one.

I ordered and received my new floor mats ( weather tech extremes) for my 4R that I dont even have yet! :( :p Hopefully soon.

I was told by Garmin that the Nuvi's will be fully compatible with Macintosh computers soon. I think I'll wait until then before I buy my 660 or 680.
 
I just received and installed my WeatherTech Liners they are the best fit for the 4runner's protection and looks great.

I am very happy with them.:biggrin2: :bigok:
