Thoughts on performance throttle bodies or spacers ?

I know on some other vehicles I've owned, throttle body spacers were pretty much worthless

How are they on 4Runners ?

And

Has anyone installed a modified aluminum billet TB ?

I had it on my 3rd generation V6 and it was total waste of money…
It may work on the domestic trucks (especially older once with TB injectors), but not on the 4runner (MP injectors) and probably not on most Japanese vehicles… 4Runner intake is already engineered to perform at its best and it will not be improved by TB spacer..

The only ones that actually worked on TBI gm trucks were from here: Your high performance 'airflow' parts source for GM / Chevy Tbi / Vortec / Marine + Racing

I don't think they have anything for Toyotas. I don't think you would see any change other than a lighter wallet with any TB spacer on these toyotas. As for a bigger TB if you had a way to custom tune it maybe a little.

If the engine is a direct port injection motor than the air and fuel don't meet til they are in the cylinder so there's no possible way for a TBS to have any effect period.
