Three-flash signal light

This might be a stupid question, but I'm used to asking them:

Is there some kind of relay, switch or solenoid for the 4R that would allow a one-tap, three-flash signal when changing lanes on the highway? All the European cars I drive have this, even Ford and GM now. I know it's a small thing in the grand scheme of things, but something I like, even though it's not universally preferred.

this would be a little more complex than just a single component...I'd like to peak into the flasher assembly to look at the components...I think this can be done with a few cheap circuit components...I'm no EE but, I should be able to come up with something if you're really interested...Or someone else with more circuits knowledge than myself.

This would be another great mod to add to the list! I kind of missed it when I got into the 4runner

That's pretty funny. I HATE those kind of turn signals, so you won't find me spending time on a writeup for this mod. Sorry! Besides, someone smarter than me already figured it out...:)

I'm game but also thinking there has to be a simpler way.
To start, do any Toyota vehicles have this feature? Maybe we can scavenge.
I know Dodge/Chrysler does so I want to look at their wiring diagram to adapt a flasher relay.

Thank you sir, I try. LOL

I actually drove the boss' suburban this morning and noticed it had those signals in it. Never even heard of them before. After driving downtown and back, I agree, I don't like them. I guess I'm too used to holding it down for a few seconds than letting go. It's weird to me to just tap it.
