Hi,
My friend threw a rod on a 94' 4runner V6. I was wondering how much work it is to swap the engine.. I have swapped jeep engines but never a toyota. I found a good used engine for $600 CDN.
The truck has 322 000 km's on it so perhaps near the end of its life anyways. Right now there's a 8 inch diameter hole behind the starter on the engine block, very scary and sad to see.
Were there many variations on the engines? I am hoping everything will just bolt up.
Any Advice?
