Throttle body question

I’m about to have my throttle body rebuilt by maxbore. Does the auto trans 3.4 have the same throttle body as the manual trans? Would rather buy one and ship to him and not take my truck out of service.

Manual throttle body does not have a place for the transmission line pressure control cable. I'm not sure if you can swap that over from one throttle body to the other.

EDIT: I'm wrong. There is provisions for the transmission line pressure control cable on my manual transmission throttle body.

Have you had a TB from a 3.4 bored and butterfly'd before? Looks like a cool service.....I can't really justify it currently, but if my TB ever crapped the bed, that looks tempting.

This answer from the FAQ reminded me that I installed an OEM TPS out of the box and drove off into the sunset many months ago. Was there anything I needed to do?

No, you do not need to send all the sensors. For convenience, I recommend that you leave the TPS on the TB. It can be difficult to remove and it requires to be reset to OEM specs once installed. I do that as part of the job, but if you need the TPS you can keep it. All other sensors like the MAP, or any other sensors or valves can be removed by you.
