Throttle Body Spacers? Opinions?

Does anyone have anything to say about throttle body spacers?

power? mpg? other?

Our engines are direct port injection meaning air and fuel don't meet til in the cylinder so there's no way a TBS could possibly do what it promises which is very little on any engine anyway except for maybe a few older carbed engines.

Total waste of money so save your money.

:iagree: 100% The key to that is the 'direct port injection'. You could make some arguement that on a carbed or TBI setup a plate may help but on a port injected engine a spacer plate can't do squat.

They can make your intake have an annoying whistle I belive that's the most a throttle body spacer has ever given anyone

Had one on my 3rd Gen. I dont care what anyone says it added 20-30 extra miles per tank. Now I know I am mixing apples to oranges, but that was my experience.

USELESS unless you like the fake turbo whistle sound. Had one on the 04 removed it. No gain no loss (except loss the whistle). See Signature
