Can this part be bought separately? It’s throwing a P1121 code and reading says change whole throttle body

I already changed the TPS. Did some diagnostics and pulled the plug from the circled part and threw the same code

So was the throttle position sensor tested? {Disconnect the pedal position sensor connector. (b) Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals VC and E2. Resistance: 1.2 - 3.2 kΩ at 20°C (68°F)}

Check your parts here (use your VIN for highest accuracy):
Toyota Parts and Accessories - Official Online Store

Not sure of your MY but my '01 has a TPS for about $81 (part no. 8945235020)

If not may find a used one at junk yard, ebay, amazon, ect.

Luck.

That's the electronic throttle that you are unplugging. Unfortunately it's a motorized unit that opens and closes the throttle and the cable is just there as a safety and Toyota sells it as a complete assembly. If it's throwing a code it is most likely needing replacement. Those things are stupid expensive too. I used to sell used ones almost immediately.

I bought a brand new oem TB online. p1121 is what it spat out.

Like I mentioned earlier the TPS didn’t fix the problem.
