throwing a code, or did i mess something up...

first off i would like to apologize for the large amounts of threads started, but i figure each one needs to stay focused in a different area.

as you may have seen i just did the led gauge lights in my rig, and after putting everything back together the other night, and driving the next day, my vsc trac and vsc off lights came on. now im not sure if thats because i messed something up, or the car is throwing a code at me.

to make matters worse, i used a recharge kit on my k&n cold air intake, to find out that i hadn't tightened the filter all the way back on, and went about a day without an air filter attached. go figure it was on a 2 hour drive.

so could this be a air/fuel ratio problem from the ecu being confused, or did i mess up something whilst changing out the bulbs?

anybody?

im getting kinda worried because autozone tells me that now in California you cant rent code pullers, and they cant do it for you. so now i either have to go to the dealership or buy a code puller and return it after.

so does anyone have any idea if its actually a code since there is no check engine light, or did i mess something up elsewhere?

its not throwing a code, and its not from your intake.

i say, take everything apart again where you did the LEDs, and make sure the wires are correct. something may be shorting out, or wires in the wrong place.

it wouldnt throw a code for traction control
