which models are you all running? The original square bar or one of the newer aero styles?

i use the aero cross bars...they work well. i'd buy longer ones if i did it again, i use every bit of the width when carrying a roofbox + surfboard

Square, since my accessories are all made for it.. But actually running INNO crossbars since they are cheaper but identical.

how do the stock thule accessories fit (sqaure ones) on the aeros? do you just need a different adaptor?

Square Loadbars more Universal

I use the square loadbars (rectangle really) because their less expensive and easy to use with accessories, even other brands. I do not notice any wind noise, I guess because they're mounted farther back on the truck.

i haven't really used many accessories other than a couple of things from rhino-rack (a shovel mount and an awning mount, which both work with the slotted rail system)
