Thule Transporter and Tow Hitch Question

I'm a newbie at this and need some help.

I'm going on a trip and was planning on getting the Thule Transporter. It says it requires a 2-inch receiver hitch that is a class II or higher. I have a 05 4Runner SR5 V6. Will this be okay? Do I just take the rubber toyota hitch cover off and put this on or do I need to buy any other part so that it can hold the weight. The last thing I need is for this to fall off during my road trip.

The 4th gens have a class III hitch -- you will be fine.

You might want to get a 5/8" locking hitch pin to prevent theft.
