Ticking behind dash during TC

Anyone else notice a ticking behind their dash that seems to only happen when the back end steps out under acceleration and the traction control light flashes? I usually keep my truck in 2WD and like to have fun kicking the back end out and this ticking gets kind of annoying. Any way to get rid of it easily? Thanks!

That is how it works...normal.
It will also 'beep' and make a 'grumble' sound. (brakes)

Thanks... yes, I noticed the beeping comes on with VSC. Do you know where behind the dash the "tick" happens... is it something I can get to relatively easily and physically disable?

I would expect the clicking to be coming from a relay activating the brakes as part of the VSC\ATRAC function. Not something you want to permanently disable or remove. Intentionally disabling a safety feature could lead to an undesirable outcome should you end up on the wrong end of a lawsuit.

As others mentioned. There are methods to temporarily disable VSC/ATRAC, but I would want to remove such a mod before selling...again, that whole civil/criminal liability thing would greatly concern me. YMMV.

Thanks guys, appreciate all the info. I am installing a switch to disable TC/VSC/ABS. I was just wondering if the ticking can be disabled without actually affecting the function of the TC but it sounds like the answer is no. Thanks again!
