Tightening loose gear selector ?

Hello Forum,
I have a 92 V-6, 4 Wh Drive with automatic transmission. There is play in the auto trans ( not 2 or 4 wheel drive selector) selector. What might be involved with replacing any bushings or whatever is necessary to 'tighten -up' the gear selector lever? Thanks.

There is a plastic bushing set. You get it from the Dealer. Cost about $5.00

I changed mine and it it is like new!

Thanks for the reply. I presume you access these bushings by removing console trim from around the shifter. Btw it's surprising that a dealer part is inexpensive for a change.
