tilt to teloscoping

is there someway to get the steering wheel on an 06 t4r from just TILT to TELOSCOPING, without replacing the whole thing?

nope. You have to replace the wheel and the steering column to make this work.

Which model do you have?

SE and Limited have the telescopic feature, it's adjusted through the lever underneath. Why the 4Runner requires two sperate levels for the two seperate functions, I have no idea. My Tacoma acheives both telescopic and tilt through one lever.

ive got the sr5 with the V8. bought it used. why it doesnt come with both tilt & tel. ill never know. its hard to find a good seating position. when i get the right arm length the legs are too cramped , when leg length is good arms are too stretched out. guess i just have to live with it.

Tilt/Telescope and the suspension and brakes are why I had to have a Sport model.

yea. like i said , it was used, with real low miles, & at a good price. too good to pass up.
