--UPDATE SELLING THE 4RUNNER (LINK)--After two years of searching for the perfect UZJ100 LC, I was finally able to grab up a built low milage example! Flew to CO the same day and drove her back (11mpg!), needless to say i'm stoked but unfortunately I will have to sell the 4runner to make space.:shrug:

Congrats on the LC. I'd buy a LC in a heartbeat if they didn't have such massive resale value keeping it out of reach. (I didn't want more than 50k miles or any older than 4-5 years when I bought...on an LC, that meant it'd still be in the $50-60k range.)

The LC is just as capable offroad as the 4Runner if not moreso. Like half the mileage, but the skill is there

11mpg. Wow. My parents have a 28 ft. motorhome that got better mileage.

IMO that's easily the second-best looking SUV of all time behind the uber-badass (and ultra-expensive) Mercedes G-Klasse.

Yours looks great, I would LOVE to get one of those things as a dedicated desert overlander one day. It has the durability of an old LC that simply wouldn't die, but with the comforts of a Lexus, can't beat that! Now if only we had the diesel available to us in the states.........
