Time to spend some money

Since I got my 4Runner last Saturday, I haven' t done anything to it except disable the first safety for the rear lockers. I have some money coming in soon, and I'm wondering what I should spend some money on. I'm already planning on buying the True Flow Air Filter, but besides that, what else should be the first things to buy. Any tips would be great.

Lifted with stock 265 tires and wheels? What lift kits do you guys recommend? I heard that the Cornfed spacers are a cheap and reliable way of getting a lift, but I hear it's quite stiff. Any suggestions?

We could use a little more info about how you intend to use it. IE Daily Driver, Off Road or both.

Since it's a 97, Here's a link to Jason Burtmans site. He has a 97 LTD also. He has several pics here and a lot of ideas on what can be done to your 97. After your done checking his site out go over the Burtman Industries (It's linked to his pages) Do a search over there by vehicle. Tons of PICS and Ideas there.

Spacers like Cornfed would be the most economical for a suspension lift. You can also do a body lift, which would be cheaper than the suspension lift. A body lift also doesn't require an alignment. There are many different ways to get lift. It just depends on how you'll use your truck and how much are you willing to spend. For $400, go with spacers or a body lift.

I'm using my 4R as both a DD and off-roader. I would say 70% on-road and 30% off-road. My friends have Tacoma's and Wrangler's and they go off-roading a lot.
