My maintenance manual for my 2003 says to change the timing belt at 90k or 72 months. For a 2004 it says 90k or 108 months on a online maint guide. It looks like they use the same belt on this site http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_U_2004_TOYOTA_4RUNNER_UZN215L-GKAGKA_1302.html does anyone know anything about this. Would someone with a 2004 look in their maintenace guide and verify that 108 months is correct. I only have 43k and do not want to change the belt if it is not needed. I am hoping Toyota realized 72 months was to soon and changed it to 108 months.
