Timing Belt Kit

I looked on Ebay for the Timing Belt Kits for my 4Runner. It is a 2002 and the belt was changed at 56K. It now has 144K on it. My question is: Are these kits on Ebay any good? Of course, the seller claims that these parts are the best out there. Has anyone ever used these parts? I am just wondering if the water pump. etc. are decent quality. Here is the link:

i used a similar kit....... GMB water pump and idler's with bando drive belts. i used a toyota t-belt, thermostat and tensioner. I bought mine used with 181,000 and no service recs. so i did my t-belt service for fun by myself and decided to skimp. Time will tell if it was a wise decision. the pump seemed to be of good quality. have 1500 miles with no trouble yet, knock on wood.

Is changing the belt something an average Joe can do ? I am by no means a mechanic. I do the routine maintenance like oil and fluid changes myself. I have a feeling that changing the belt might be too much for me. I can get the kit installed for about $300.

I bought all my parts from toyota.magauto.com. My t-belt, A/C belt, P/s belt, Alternator belt, water pump, t-stat, all of my cooling system hoses, oil seals, cam shaft seal, replaced the radiator spacer, replaced idlers, replaced tensioner, replaced head gasket, etc. My 2K 4R have about 164K on it. If it's your first time doing a t-belt it might be challenging, I'd recommend having someone doing it for you and will save you a lot of headache. No, I did not do it myself, have some good friends helped me out. Good luck.

I am pretty sure I will pay the $300 and make sure all is properly installed.

It will take me more time and there is no assurance that it is done properly.
