Timing belt/Supercharger Question

I'm getting ready to install the SC in a couple of days and I was wondering if a timing belt replacement (77K mile) might be a good idea

I'd like some input

it is a good time to do it. I just did mine just over a week ago. I did the timing belt and water pump when I installed my supercharger, but my belt and pump had 128260mi on them. I think it would be a great time to do it though, we all know you are going to run the runner just a tad bit harder with the SC.:girl:

It's a 90k interval though, so when was the last time it was done? Has it ever been done?

One more thing since you only have 77kmi. remember the belt is rubber and 10 years old tires are recommended not to be used after 6 years old.

True... the only reason I ask the ???'s is because sometimes mechanics will talk people into doing it early. 60k was the conventional thing to do for a long time, easy way for a shop to make some bucks.

Taking that to mean there's no record of it ever having been done? Better safe than sorry... good rule with engine mods. :guitar2:
