Timing Belt tools

I'm starting to collect all the information, parts, and tools i will need to do my timing belt job (once spring rolls around)

Anyone know a good source online for all the special tools needed for the job? I plan on buying the complete set of tools and then renting/selling them on here once I'm done.

thanks!

My writeup on the same engine in my Land Cruiser, and there are a couple more in the FAQ thread of that 100-series forum.
Timing Belt for Dummies writeup

Not a lot of special tools, other than the crank holding tool I made. Everything else is common hand tools. I describe how to make the crank holder if you prefer that route.

Wow, Very nice write-up! thanks for sharing. It really clarifies how to remove the crank pulley, which is really the only part i am worried about.

anyone know if this tool will work?

Do they have those at the AutoZone free tool rental? If so you could try threading one of those posts into your front crank pulley.
