In the state of Missouri you can do 35% front side windows and any amount on the rest of the truck. My concern is that anything over 35% on the front side windows, even with the top of the line titanium tint will reduce visiblity to the degree that it could be dangerous at night? Next question, if I go with 35% on all of the windows what % would that make the windows that come tinted to 20% from the factory? 15? 10? 5? I could just tint the front driver and passanger side windows but I feel that it would make them all match better if I went with 35% tint with the titanium tint on all of the windows? Am I off base with these assumptions???

i don't know the answer to your question, Pitbull, but i do have a question that may help you get around tinting windows (i know it's annoying to answer a question with a question, bear with me). A friend of mine, he's a honda ricerocket kind of guy, told me that a lof the import people would put somekind of a reflective material in place of where the tint would usually go. it's like one of those one-side see through mirrors that allows the inside occupants to see clearly from the inside or the vehicle to the outsdie, but bypassers from the outside of the window would only see their reflection of the outside, themselves, exactly like a mirror. my friend also told me that some people would put this mirror-like material behind the window tint, so the tint would only have to be mildly darkend to block out some light and heat, the reflective material behind the window tint will ensure privacy for the occupants... i actually have been wanting to ask this forum for a while now about this reflective "tint," since you brought it up, i thought i ask now?

If you put 35% on all of your windows, then the factory-tinted windows will all look much darker than the driver's and passenger side windows.
Why not just tint the two windows to match the rest instead? That's what I did... I went with 20%, which matches very well with the factory tinted windows. 35% will be a bit lighter than the factory tinted windows, but it is still a decent match.
As for nighttime visibility-- 35% shouldn't give you a problem at all. It's just not dark enough to cause any visibility problems, even at night. 20% may give you a problem, but it still allows plenty of nighttime visibility. When I first had my windows tinted, they seemed pretty dark looking out at night, but I got used to them very quickly... now I don't even notice them being tinted anymore.

Have to agree with hitman, tint the front windows 15 or 20% (even tho it is illegal). Down here in South Florida it's pretty much a "must" to have your windows tinted and the police do not go around measuring the darkness of your tint. Short of limo tint (5%), they don't even look twice.
Tho in other areas where there aren't a lot of vehicles tinted up, I could see Bubba the local sheriff looking for a reason to pull people over.
Even tho the state "legal" tint is 35%, places down here not only do 15%, but encourage it so it matches with the factory installed tints on the rear windows. From the inside the 15% appears a bit darker than the factory, but from the outside they are a perfect match.
As far as your concerns about visability, you will become accustomed to it after a few weeks of driving at night. During the day, it's great to not have an intense glare coming at you from the side while driving. Or the sun beating on you while you sit in rush hour traffic. Then at night, it's great to have it to cut down on the headlights and gives you piece of mind in that people walking or driving along side of you can't see you and won't be able to see what you have in your ride.
Plus it's a lot easier to stare down/ bitch at the jackass that just cut you off in traffic knowing that he can't see you when you pull up along side of him/her. Keep em guessing!

Here in Jerzey, the law says no ( zero %) window tint on the front sides

not to hijack your thread, but consider my story, ALL OF YOU. I was pulled over 3 to 4 months ago coming out of a shopping plaza and making a right, i saw an officer finishing writing a ticket to a white Lexus Is300. I did everything right, signaled, stayed in the outside lane, drove at 25 miles a hour, and, as soon as i passed the cop car, with the cop still OUTSIDE his car, the car came after me. There were two of them, his partner stopped me about 30 feet ahead of where the lexus was stopped. You know what he busted me for?? not having a front license plate.... and when he asked to see my insurance, i showed it to him; except it was under my mother's name. why, you ask? because i was driving my mother's benz c320. it wasn't my car, i don't usually drive it, i explained it to the officer, thinking he would understand, guess what? he told me he'll give me 10 more minutes to produce my own insurance while he go back to talk to his partner. 10 minutes later, his partner came to my window, of course, i still dont have my OWN insurance, becaues it wasn't my car i was driving. so i got a ticket for driving without a front license plate and driving without insurance. when i showed up in court, the lady beind the cashier's window said that i was perfectly in the right, it was absolutely LEGAL for me to just show the car owner's insurance to the cop, if it wasn't my car. still, they want 100 bucks for the llicense plate violation, and if i had not protested the insurance thing, the court would've demanded more than 800 bucks!!!! just want to let you know, Pitbull, that not all cops are trustworthy. Most are, but some are really, just , #$#@#%. I still think it was because i drove a benz that night that he busted me.

Plus I love it when the cops stop me, since I carry, I give them my Concealed carry permit at the same time I give them my DL. Then they ask me if I'm packing, kind of throws them off their game. They fiqure your a good guy since you have a CCW and I've found that they don't hassle you. Others that have CCW's tell me the samething.
Also if you are being stopped for speeding, by the time the cop gets to your window it should be rolled down. I would roll down both the driver side and passengers side as soon as I pulled over. Hard to notice/check them if they can see them. now i know this is DEFINITELY off topic, but did you have to acquire the local sheriff's permission to obtain the conealment license, Pitbull?? i know it differs with each state, i'm in So. Cal. right now, may possibly move to Tx soon... i'm sure it was easier for you because you wore a badge once upon a time.
