Tinted the Windows

i finally got my windows tinted, i ended up putting 15% over the factory and 15% up front. it doesnt match exactly but close enough and dark enough. from the inside they match pretty close the fronts are going to look lighter anyway with the front window. at night they are really dark but so far i havent had any issues seeing out of them.

My friend did them for me. Her dad has a shop on colfax and they do tinting at the shop along with body work

Looks good. That's about the darkness of mine. I couldn't stand not having them match though.

You should do another layer of 35% or 20% on the fronts.

i agree <b>Clemsonfan15</b> i may have her throw 20 over the top to even it out. i wanted to drive at night a few more times to see though before i make up my mind. she told me i shouldnt cause when i roll my windows down to park ill look silly.....but i dont ever really have to park downtown so i think ill be ok

<b>sn0wrunner</b> she did hook me up good it was a buck 50 for the whole car. i dont know if she would extend the discount too much though. they do great paint work there i saw a few of the cars...im sure she could give some discount but im not thinking it would be the same as she gave me

Looks good, Chris! Did you (or anyone) have the sunroof done to make it darker? If what I hear is true, and there is no UV protection provided by the factory "privacy" glass, I might be interested in throwing some 30% on my sunroof.

i didnt do anything with the sunroof..id thought about it but im gonna keep it stock for now. let the sun shine through.

What % tint did you use in the back? Double 5%? It looks nice.

i put 15% over the factory in the back. i like the way the back windows look and they all look nice at night..but during bright sunny days the fronts look a little green. at some point ill throw 20 over the 15 thats already on there now.

I'm thinking of putting double 5% on the back window. A cop actually pulled me over for not wearing a seat belt, I was merging on the highway and he was behind me.
