tips on removing headliner?

I think my sunroof is leaking and I am going to remove the headliner and check it out. I checked the Drains already. Any tips or tricks that I need to know?

i wouldn't remove it completely. just remove the trim panel for the right and left A and B piller, visors,dome lamps and trim that goes around the sunroof. now you should be able loosely hang the front part of the head liner to inspect where the leak is coming from and possibly repair it. i've had a couple of 4runner leak at a bolt the hold the roof rack. ..good luck

yeah I tried that and i just siliconed everywhere under there that i could see that maybe water would seep in. I had a hose going on top of the roof while i looked but of course no signs of water then.
