My 2006 Sport V-8 came with Dunlop AT 20 Grandtrex tires. Tire Rack has them ranked about 62 out of 65 all season tires. I drive in CO mtns. year round and will need to change them before winter. Revos are well thought of but does anyone have experience with Cooper ATRs? Have heard good things about them in other forums and I have a set on my wife's 04 Limited. Only used them on highway so far towing a 2 place ATV trailer and they are quiet. Have heard they are good off road and in snow. It was a new design last year.

Re: Offroad/Winter Tires

The only thing I know is I purchased a set of nearly new Cross Terrains from a fellow forum member on this board. He had a '05 Limited and lives in Park City, UT. He said that he got rid of the Cross Terrains in favor of the BFG off road tire for both off road applications and the snow.
Hope this helps.

I also run the Revos and have had no complaints to give. I also know some folks that use the BFG A/Ts and those seem to be even more grippy..at least in the very rough stuff.

You should be able to get at least one winter out of the Dunflops. If you want the best winter tires go with the Nitto Grapplers or REVOs.

Another vote to the bfg AT/Ko's. Those things love to eat snow. I had a set on my explorer and drove it all over the mountains in the colorado winters. If your alignment is good they should last quite a while also.

No doubt they are going to replace my dunflops in the future.
