I'm sure this has been beat to death but need to replace my stock 265 70 16 Goodyear and looking at Michelin Latiutude. I only go in the mud and snow 8-10 times a year. Wondering about different sizes that might work without any modifications and what the benefit might be? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

u can prob do 265/75/r16's depending on the tire

I put the Latitude Tour on my 4WD Sequoia. They have been great.
I went with the LTX AT2 for the 4Runner. They have a more aggressive tread for more challenging conditions. Give them a look?

I'm thinking since 90% of my driving is on the pavement the Latitude is a good choice. Deciding now to replace 1 GY tire for 200 bucks and wait a year or bite the bullet now and go for the creme del a creme.. It is Christmas soon right?

The 75 in 265/75 16 is the aspect ratio.

It represents the sidewall height of the tire.

It would be figured like this: 265 times .75 equals the sidewall height.

198.75 mm or 7.824 inches.

The jump from the 70 series to the 75 series will net you a tire that is about one inch taller than your current size.
