Tire confirmation 265/70/17's & opinion

I've have my friend on stand by so if the deal goes through this weekend on the 4R it will go right to the tire shop after I pick it up for some 265/70/17's BFG AT. Just want to confirm I will be OK with no rubbing , even under off road flex condition's

Looking at 2006 SE V8 or V6

On Galatic gray .....white's in or out ???????

I haven't been offroad with my 70's yet but under normal circumstances you'll be fine. The front tires are reeeeal close the the splash guards but even with the wheels fully cranked I haven't noticed any rubbing.

I've got an 04 Galactic Grey SE with 265/70r17 BFG's -- the white lettering out. It's really, really close but no rubbing -- I've only had them on for about 800 miles though.

Get the V8, you won't be disappointed. And white out on SE, always. Just like wearing black shoes with a black belt.

Some rubbing

at full lock, but seems to be on one side only. Can't remember if it rubs turning ot the left or right, I just back off 1/8 turn and all is well.

Slight rubbing at full lock under compression when the tread was brand new or nearly so. It doesn't happen anymore with 12k on the tires. Don't know when it stopped because it was a rare occurrence under specific circumstances.

Nothing that would prevent me from buying them again.

What PSI are you running off-road with? That will make a huge difference when you rub. On my Tacoma I run 12-15 PSI when I off-road/rock crawl. I know that these tires don't have the greatest sidewall so you can't deflate them too much.

i have 285/70/17 and the only rubbing i have is at full lock and it only rubs on the mudflaps
