Tire Depth Opinion

Just checking to see what you guys think of the tread depth on these tires. I'm thinking of picking them up to use for the next 3-9 months (length of time depends on $ and how they are holding up). They are cooper discoverer stt's and the guy says they have 40-50% tread left. Just hoping for a second opinion before I make the drive to get them.

Those are about the same as the Duratracs I bought used. I paid 300, dont pay a cent over that.

Thanks for the response. Yeah he wants $200 for them, which is good, but they are ~3 hours away. I'm not sure I can get out of the house for that long.

My duratracs were in northern Colorado.. its a good thing I had a trip planned to go up there already..
