Buy a good digital gauge (less moving parts) and be consistant. Check you tires cold, in the morning and keep doing it the same way. It is not so important that they are really 34.2 when you set them at 35. It is important that they all read 35 on your gauge on every tire. If he gauge is much less than 15 bucks pass. Oh and if you are not doing a 5 tire rotation, you might want to drop the spare and check it, too (the valve in on the top when the spare is in place). If you really want to be sure, store your spare with 2 or 3 extra psi so compensate for forgetting to check it in the future. TMI, maybe....
