Tire help -- no direction symbol

Hey,

I just changed my tires and noticed in the back someone had indicated direction with a white marker ex:--> on 3 tires. The fourth one had no sign in the back. My wifes car has got a symbol in the front side wall specifying the direction the tires need to be installed(imprinted by manufacturer). I didn't notice that symbol on my tires.

Anybody have a clue on how I should install them? Tires I have are still good for one season and are "Good Year Wrangler SR-A"

Some are 'directional' and others are non-directional (won't matter); but also beware of some tires that have "Install this side out" printed on the sidewall.

some folks even like to remount their tires in the other direction just to even out the wear pattern and extend their treadlife.

As mentioned- as long at the tires are not "directional" and our trucks do not require such tires-then all is well. The ride may be a bit noticeable until the new pattern has time to set in.

A different kind of question that usually seen here. I applaud the uniqueness of the query. There are no stupid questions and it was good you brought this up.
