tire help with spidertrax

im going to be installing the daystar 2/1.5 lift on my 4runner with 1.25 spidertrax and was wondering what is the biggest size tire i can run with that setup with no rubbing? and what is a good tire that people suggest? i dont really do any off roading besides an occansional trail so i just want a good all terrain tire that wont wear to fast. thanks for any help.

ive done some searching also but keep coming up with different answers.

in for responses as well. I was thinking 275/65/18 with the spidertrax
 
With spacers, there will be some rubbing with pretty much any tire bigger than stock. I know with my 255/75/17 (32") I rub, even with the 3" lift.. I believe the 275/65/18 is almost identical in height, only wider. I had to remove the front mud flaps and move the fender liner forward. I've gotta move the liner further because I still rub at full lock on the highway. I'm not sure, but I'm guessing I'll rub a little more off road, haven't tried flexing yet.
 
i think you will rub your uca's with anything over a 275. I went with 265/65/18 with the level kit and spidertraxx and ended up cutting the front mud flaps in half and pulling the fender liners forward. i feel comfortable saying that 275s will rub quite a bit more, which may result in no mud flaps and having to cut the fender liners. PERSONAL OPINION, i tried it with no mud flaps and didn't think it looked finished. to each his own.

lol ark, i always enjoy your responses, they always offer up great advice...but...why in the hell are you at full lock on the highway?
 
Haha, more like in and out of parking spots, not technically highway. I meant that as on pavement, not flexing at all. Anything over 275 requires spacers to clear the uca, with spacers its not an issue.

The rubbing isn't major and doesn't take a lot of modification, but some.
 
With spacers my 265/70R17 terragrapplers rubbed on the front fender liner. It's an easy fix, you take out the screws from the bottom, push the liner forward an inch, and force the screws back into the plastic (they make their own holes). Then you are fixed.
 
I'm in the same boat. 2/1.5 lift and can't wait to get spidertrax and some ATs installed. I know I've seen all the info on compatible tire sizes before, I just have to find the time to locate it again. In the meantime Ill be watching this.
