Tire light came on but no flat?

Hi all!

So my indicator light came on for my tire but after checking all the tire pressures, everything is fine. The door panel says 32psi and they are right there. Drove another 5 miles and the light still won't go off. Any ideas?

In case you have not already done so, do not forget to check the air pressure in the spare tire as well. The spare tire has the same sensor as the other four tires and will turn on the TPMS light on the dash as well.

Did you check the spare? If any one tire is under 26 or 27psi, it will trigger the light.

Sorry guys, I didn't realize there was a sensor to the spare too. I'll check that first thing.

That's a good tip. I wasn't aware of that. My tire pressure indicator light has been on for a couple weeks now and I have not been able to get to go off. All the tires are filled to the recommended 32 psi. I will check the spare and see if that changes anything.
