Tire Options for 18" 06 trucks?

It appears there are no Revo's in the OEM size 18" wheels. What are others doing. The factory Duellers suck.

Basically your choices are:

Michelin X-Terrains
BFG Radial Long Trail T/A's
Yokohama Geolandar H/T's
BFG Rugged Trail T/A's

The brands listed above are for a 265-275/60R18 tire. There are going to be a few more brands if you venture up to a 285 width or a 65 or 70 series.

Cooper Tire has a few different types that would fit. They even have a 275/65/18 in both AT and MT tires that would probably work well. My brother has the Discoverer STT, mud terrain, on his LR3 and those tires work extremely well.

I bet they would. I'm pretty sure there is rubbing on 285's with a 17 inch wheel, so the 18's would most likely rub depending on the aspect ratio (60 series, 65 series, etc.)

Looks like Goodyear now has the Wrangler SA in our size. Hopefully we'll see more selection in the coming months.

Remember width of the rim!

Our 18's are only 7.5 inches wide... so they won't work with a lot of the bigger tires. Does anyone even make a 285 that will fit on a 7.5 inch rim?

I would like to learn more about this as well if anyone has some input? Would love to find just the right set of tires to compliment my oem 18" wheels and OEM lift. AT or less aggressive MT are what I am looiking at now.

The only ones I found are Cooper STT's, they should work. I opted for getting new 17" rims personally.

So the 17"s fit a 06?

I ask cause my 18"s on mine look way to big to afford good sidewall. I just want get some black steelies and wrap in MT's.

Any ideas.

Yep 17" is the minimum size for the Sport and Limited models. I have the OEM 18" on my 06 Limited with the OME lift installed and plan to upgrade to the BFG AT 265/65R18 soon.
