Anyone know the recommendations? I have 30x9.5x15...

Consult the sidewall of your tire. It should be on there. It varies between different tires.

Usually I thought it was on vehicle somewhere but didn't find it. Usually I thought they say to use that but I'll check the tires, thanks

Its on the drivers door jamb.

Thats what I thought. My tires have a range printed on the side wall. I put them at 10-15% less than the max for most of the year.

Yes you would. Pressure is pressure, regardless of the volume.

That would be the maximum pressure the tire is rated for, not the pressure you should use. That is on the door jamb tag.

Mine say Recommended Range and then right next to it Max Pressure. Maybe my tires are just different. I was under the assumption that they all pretty much said the same thing, so sorry to lead you down the wrong path azhawk22

Understood. What the tag says on the door jamb is based upon the vehicle's weight ...... yes? the proper psi would go by the weight of the vehicle?

So, I'm gonna check my door jamb again.

** I've been keeping my 31x10.5 All-Terrains at 30 psi cold.

Mine door jab sticker is gone.. I have no owners manual :-(. My tires say 50psi cold

Keep in mind that if you put in the max tire pressure, your asking for trouble if you climb in elevation. Air swells the higher you go. So if you plan on driving up several thousand feet you need to let some air out and check the pressure often.

I want the perfect psi for regular street driving -- not too little, not too much.

My door jamb says "FRT" (or something) at 26 psi and also "RR" at 35 psi.

I'm confused again. What are these two different psi's about?

FRT = front and RR = rear.
The front and rear of a vehicle see different loads (weights), so different PSI.
But 35 does not sound normal at all.
To find the perfect pressure for your truck, do the chalk test. To find out what that is do some GOOGLing.

Actually, a few tires do carry a manufacturers reccomended range.
My 36" TSLs have that on the sidewall, but newer ones no longer have it for some reason. They're the only ones I've ever seen it on.
