Tire pressure question

I have a '99 Limited. I run BFG AT KOs in one size taller than stock. The sidewall of the tire says to run 60 psi. The owner's manual says something like 34 psi.
What tire pressure should I use for street driving?
What do you use?

id go with 35psi cold

Re-read the sidewall. You will notice that it says something like MAX PSI 60. This means 60 is the highest you should ever go when carrying a full load. It is not the recommended normal running pressure.

Somewhere between 30-35 psi, depending on how you like your ride comfort and steering feel, is normal.

When I am fully loaded up with gear and passengers I increase my rear tire pressures to 40 psi. Anything higher and the ride becomes too firm and rough.

I run the same tire on my 99 4Runner. I run it on 30 to 35 psi. 265-70-16.

My pos firestone destinations 265-70-16's have a max of 44psi and that what I keep all of them at. all police cars and emergency vehicles use this same principle.

I can't imagine ever running max PSI, esp cold. The ride would be stiffer and not as much compliancy with the road surface, especially if it's wet. I run 36 PSI.

I run mine at 38 psi cold

I get lazy...since it loses 1-2 psi/month, I add a tad more, because if I'm lazy, I can go without checking & still be okay.
