Since the tire pressure monitoring came out in 2004, I would think that you don't have the correct wiring harnesses for it in a 2003 model. There are two parts needed in addition to the senders - the computer, which sits behind the dash, and the wireless receiver, which is in the back door near the 3rd brake light. The senders are integrated with the tire valve stems.

You also wouldn't have the indicator light on the dash.
