Tire Pressure

I just got some 285/75/16 BF Goodridge km2. My Question is:

What is a good tire pressure for the BF Goodridge km2 on road?

The max said's 80psi. Is that what i should run them at?

It depends on the Load range of the tire (C, D or E)... but I'd say around 40 should be safe for on-road, provided your truck is not too heavy.

I run my E rated tires (yours are Es too) at 30 psi and they're still too stiff for my liking. They say that if you want optimal tread wear, then don't go below 45 psi on Es. I did learn something from my E rated tires though... never get them again for a mid-sized truck.

How do you feel the BFGs ride? And what's happening with those sick stickers you designed?

I run mine at 32 psi and I have BFG A/T's.. Is still a little firm at 32.

Hey Pure98, I also have E rated tires and have been running them at 35psi. How do you like them so far?

They do ride firm but i have them at 60psi:ybrick:. I like them a lot so far, they have a lot of traction on road. They are not to to loud, at least not to me. I am very happy with my buy, they look and drive great. When i was in the market for tires i wasn't to fond in the way they looked in the pictures, but now that they are on the truck WOW they look good.

As far as the stickers I am talking to a new printer tomorrow. (I hate that its taking so long, a lot of printers cant print them. I may have to redesign it with less detail. )

Be careful guys...

Running LT tires underinflated can cause overheating and tire failure, especially on those long trips. Believe it or not LT's, in most cases, require MORE air than a P tire to be safe and not overheat.

Don't want anyone here to end up going down the tragic Ford Explorer/Firestone path of the early-mid 90's.
