Tire Prices

Planning on getting new tires in the next few months. I normally will bounce between 2 places to get what I feel to be "the best deal". That said, just curious what prices you guys are paying. Please include Tire Brand and Size with what you paid. Thanks everyone!

Was just quoted the following from my tire shop for (4) tires in P265/65/17.

Michelin LTX Defender $900.54

Cooper Discoverer AT3 $794.29

The above prices are out the door and include: installation, balancing, weights, TPMS reprograming (if needed), tire disposal and sales tax.

Just missed it. Discount tire was running their ebay special, $100 off purchases of $400. Cooper Maxx S/T were under $160 each. BFG A/Ts were a bit more.

I grabbed four Cooper AT3's for 183 ea. and one was free AND I'm getting the $70 Cooper Rebate. Total spent 683.xx - $70 Rebate = 613.xx with installation/alignment and all.

I have a 2015 SR5 4x4.

I put about 30k on a year so I already needed new tires about few months back. Unlike a lot of other people I really like the factory tires Grandtrek AT20's and found them to be very good in big western PA snowstorms.

I found four on Amazon for 544 shipped and my mechanic charged like 17 per tire to install.

I thought it was a good deal.

I bought 4 Goodyear MT/R's in 275/70/17 with mounting and balancing and tax it was $1,251.00. A princely sum but i'm a cheap ass and sometimes I just have to treat myself.

As my Grandfather used to say about parts and tools "The most expensive thing you can do is buy cheap".
