Tire Question Nitto vs Revo 2

Just ordered a set of 17 x 9 Ultra Guantlet Wheels
It's a month wait so I have time to shop for tires.

Thinking either the Nitto Terra Grapplers or the Revo 2's.
Reason I am thinking of those 2 is because both are rated to fit 9" wheels.
I'm thinking of getting the stock tire size as I am not lifted yet.
Might level the rig later on.

Which tire do you think is better?
Performance?
Aggressive looks?
Handling?
Ride quality?

Don't know about the Revo's but the Nitto's are good tires I have had 2 sets.

I would say they are both similar.

I think the Revo has a slight on road advantage and the Terra Grapplers have a slight edge offroad.

I think you would be correct a friend of mine has the Revos on his Excursion says they do good in town and on the highway in snow not so good on washboard gravel roads but they are on a heavy Excursion I don't really know if that make much difference but I have never driven it so I can't really say. I personally like the Nittos had them on this 4runner for 2 months and lifted it and to to BFG KM2's

I would agree with this . I did not find my Revos to be good in off road / snow and severe conditions , but they did get me home . The were great in rain and on road / hiway / city driving.

My stepson is running Nitto's on his 4th gen and is happy with all around performance.

Also as far as tough looking = Nitto TG hands down.

My current setup is: 17 x 9 Ultra Guantlet Wheels on
some Nitto Tera Grapplers 265/70/R17. They ride and
feel very good, way better than my factory setup.
The Nittos handle very well off road. I've been through
some mud, slushy snow, and sand. The tread blocks
do a great job at ejecting the dirt, mud and sand away.
I haven't had them clogged, they clean themselves pretty
good. On the Hwy they are very quiet, no hum or road
vibration so i was very pleased with that. I would definitely
recommend them. I don't have a lift but yet it adds a nice
aggressive look to the 4R.

I'm very happy with my Revo 2s. But, I'm in Florida (no snow). They are great in the rain and have good traction in wet sand and mud. I pull my boat out of a sand/dirt/mud ramp quite often (this morning actually) and they work just fine.

The Revos are also very good on the highway. They're quiet and true. They are worlds better than the stock tires. I couldn't believe the difference.

I've read many good reviews of Nittos as well.

In this case, I'd say buy on price. But only because they're both high quality and very similar in performance.
