Tire question

I am about to need a new set of tires on my 4Runner. I am looking anything in the 255/85R16 size.

From my research the tires that are avalaible in this size are below
Toyo OPEN COUNTRY M/T
Cooper Discoverer S/T
Cooper Discoverer S/T MAXX
BFG Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 -(After some research it appears this tire is no longer made :shocked

Anyway I just wanted some input from others about which one of these will have the longest tread life, as I DD my 4Runner.

If you want good tread life go with some all terrains. Those muds will all last 30k miles at most

Where did you see the KM2's are discontinued? I saw them the other day on Discount Tire and what I am planning on getting. I had the original BFG M/T's and I had over 20K and they looked new still. I would go A/T's unless you wheel a lot and need the aggressive tread.

Looks like it is just in the size...I feel better now.
