Tire Question

Hope to be buying a Limited 4-WD V-8 4-Runner on Friday?
I would appreciate any advice on what to do regarding tires in light of the discussion about Dunlops. Thanks.

Avoid the dunflops if possible as they're not that great. I personally didn't like em so if you can get any other brand on there, that'll be awesome.

Otherwise, who cares as tires can be changed/upgraded anyway Just go for the heart and soul and get that runner!

Make sure you post some great photos of your new ride too Definitely make everyone happy here.

Some new 4runners come with Michelin Cross Terrains, which are excellent highway road tires. They also cost quite a bit more than the Dunlops...so, think of it as a discount towards your 4runner if you have them.

The dealership swapped out the dunlops and replaced them with the Michelins for me when I first bought mine -- they did so for free, so you might want to try and see if they'd do something like that for you before you take it off the lot.

Yeah, from the look of things, those Michelins of yours did not stay on your 4runner long!
