Tire recommendation

I was wondering what everyone thinks is a good tire for daily driving on my 2001 SR5 2WD. No off-roading or anything crazy, just all season city/highway driving for my wife. I currently have BFGoodrich Radial LongTrail T/A, but would like something a big quieter for not much more money. I am looking at:

BFGoodrich Radial LongTrail T/A (don't fix it if it ain't broken, right?)
Yokohama Geolandar H/T
Firestone Destination LE
Michelin LTX M/S
Michelin Latitude Tour (bit of a stretch due to price)

Thoughts?

I'm happy with my Michelin LTX's. They are over six years old now and I have no idea how many miles are on them, but they work really well for me. They came with my 4runner, so I haven't changed them.

They are quite, handle rain really well in my opinion, couldn't ask for much more on road.

I have michelin ltx and they are nice and quiet, like clemson said. They last a loooong time, and handle well in all types of weather conditions.

those General Grabbers look kind of neat and are not overly expensive....

no experience with them....

P series or Light Truck tires?

Yokahama Geolanders are a good all around tire for a 2wd.

I like my Nittos and there are quite a few of us running them, probably overkill for your needs.

I like my Michelin LTX M/S. Good for a daily driver. But I'm looking to get something bigger and more aggressive down the road. But for your needs, the Michelin LTX would be perfect.

check out the toyo open country A/T tires, i love mine. quiet, smooth, yet aggressive when you want them to be

A friend of mine has the Firestone Destination LE on his 99 runner and doesnt like them at all he says he gets bad traction on snow and rain and doesnt like how they ride. but its your call

i currently am running something called definity HT something, i got them a at pep boys, they are quite, handle moderate in the snow and stuff have run them everywhere from moab to texas,
so far probably 25k miles, and they still look great. there supposed to be 80k mile tires. which i thought was ridiculous.

like 115 a tire, 265 70 16's

Cooper ATRs hands down. I've had them on a couple vehicles with awesome results. If you want a little more aggressive the cooper s/t are pretty awesome. In between an atr and mt. I have them on my runner now. no more road noise than normal tires and they'll go 60,000 miles.

If I were you I would go with the ones made of rubber. Get the black ones that have tread around the outside. Oh yeah, make sure they are the round ones too. Follow those guidelines and I bet you'll be happy.
