Tire recommendations 2010 Trail

We are about to invest in new tires for our 2010 4Runner Trail. The truck has 120,000 miles on it and we plan to keep it for the duration. We currently have Bridgestone Dueler HT's on it. The vehicle is a commuter car, no off road use. We live in N.J. so we do see all sorts of weather. Anyone want to share any tire recommendations? We are looking for durability and longevity mostly. Thanks in advance.

The Michelin Defender LTX M/S is probably the best overall road tire for your conditions and use.

Agreed, just make sure you get the SL version rather than the E1 version. The SL version has a 70k warranty. Item 11315 on Discount Tire's website.

I have a 2010 Trail as well, and had the Michelins until one of them had a complete sidewall blowout. I replaced them with Nitto Terra Grappler G2 Load Range E and am very happy with them. Great traction, not noisy, and overall good tires.

Take a look at these, highly rated, wear like iron (65k), comfortable, super quiet, great traction, and perfect for your usage scenario.

Thank all of you guys for your thoughts, I have always used Bridgestone tires, this time around I will take your suggestions and go with the Michelins. Great to have this resource.

Take a look at the Kumho Crugen HT51. It has the highest overall rating on tirerack.com.
