Hi all,
So, got a deal on a set of used wheels from a different generation 4R, since I was tired of swapping my summer & winter tires off the stock rims. The only problem - the offset on them is different, pushing the wheels out a bit from the body. Not much of an issue, except I'm getting a rub at the front of the fender well when I turn - this photo shows where I'm talking about:
So, the question - is this something that can be easily 'persuaded' to move out a bit with the aid of a hammer, or something similar? Or is there another solution? I haven't really had much of a chance to look at it as it's been pouring here, but I figured someone else has likely run into this before...
Thanks!
Dirk
